Any online entrepreneur knows that it is not easy to make the first sales for a new E-commerce store.

As a new store has no reputation yet, Search Engines and customers can hardly see or appreciate it. However, this article will show you 5 ways to earn money for your brand new E-commerce store.

Ways to make first sale for a new E-commerce store

1. Set up social media profile

Because of the massive number of social media users, any online business will need its official profile on those interactive channels.

You can see how much time the world spends on social media a day and how many successful stores have social network’s accounts.

Let’s create a Facebook page/group, an Instagram account, or a Youtube channel for your store and interact with your audiences via posts, comments, and videos. And your online store will surely get a lot of visitors that can be converted into buyers later.

2. Work with social influencers

How to massively introduce your online shop to people?

On the contrary to your unknown brands, social influencers such as C.Ronaldo, Maroon 5, or Emma Watson have millions of fans.

If you cannot cooperate with big celebrities yet, let’s start with a social account which has around 1000-2000 subscribers. 

You can pay them an appropriate amount of money or offer them your products in exchange for public reviews.

This way will cost you less money but  bring about a better result than paid ads.

3. Create a blog on your website

How to drive traffic to your online store by blogs? If people come across d useful articles, chances are they will  share it widely on social networking sites.

When your blog drives a tremendous amount of traffic to your website, search engine will appreciate your store, too.

In general, a blog post could generate brand awareness in customers’ mind and boost your rank on search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Bing. So, it is worth you spending time writing blog posts.

4. Take part in forums

If you are wondering how to advertise online store for free or how to promote online store on Facebook, you can join popular forums.

Those can be Reddit, Quora, Yahoo, or big groups on Facebook or other websites to find customers

To do this, you must choose the right communities to connect. 

For example, if your E-commerce store sells pet supplies such as dog collars, cat litter boxes, or cat toys, you should join pet lover communities.

In some groups, they will ban you if you promote your store too roughly. Therefore, be clever when sharing your brand with emotional stories instead of graceless advertisement and seeding posts.

Choose the right time in a day to post about your E-commerce store in 2-3 groups/forums with thousands of members online. The results may shock you! 

5. Organize giveaways gameshow

This is another example of giving before getting, especially at the early stage of a store.

You should hold gameshows that require contestants to interact and draw their friends into the show.

To do so, you can ask people to share your posts and tag their friends to get rewards. 

The gameshow can give some questions about your products or roll the lucky number. The rule depends on your creativity or you can just follow traditional methods.

Though there are many other ways to make the first sales for a new E-commerce store, these methods are the cheapest and easiest for new entrepreneurs.
